The Coach Approach is a YMCA exercise support process designed to teach new and returning members how to start and stick with their exercise program. At no additional cost, the YMCA will pair you with a personal wellness coach. The Coach Approach involves a series of one on one meetings with your wellness coach. In those meetings, you will learn how to kick the inactivity habit, build your success as an exerciser, see the connection between short term and long term success, commit to a manageable program, shape your workouts around activities you prefer, measure the effect of exercise on mood, stress, and energy levels, and stay on track even when your schedule throws you a curve ball. For the greatest chance of success in achieving your fitness goals, schedule a Coach Approach appointment today at the Welcome Center. Must be at least 16 years of age to participate, or 12-15 must have completed our YOUNGUNS program.
