Extreme Adventure Camp Ages 12-18

 

Extreme Adventure Camp is a physically challenging camp. Adventurers will leave the YMCA for an overnight trip and return the next day. Tuition covers all trips, lodging, and most meals.

 

 

Whitewater Rafting: Session 2 June 19-20

 

Our teens have asked for the best white water and that is exactly what we aim to deliver. We will head to Ace Adventure to take on the New River Gorge National River. We leave the Y on Thursday and the river will consume our day on Friday. We will return to the YMCA on Friday evening. Check out www.aceraft.com

Horseback: Session 7 July 24-25

Gallop into our next adventure on horseback.! Our equestrian adventure is a partnership with Leatherwood Mountain and Stables in Ferguson, NC. Our trip begins on Wednesday when we head to the mountains of North Carolina. An early Thursday morning breakfast will be served then we will begin our horseback voyage. Adventurers will get a full understanding of what it takes to ride and care for horses. While half of the group is out riding, the other half will stay back and work on the farm. A good nights rest will be had before we head back to the YMCA on Friday. Check out www.leatherwoodmountains.com.
