Middle School Day CampYMCA Summer Camps – Every kind of camp for every kind of kid! The YMCA offers your child more than just a safe, fun summer experience. It’s a place where children can grow, meet new friends and experience new things. The core to all YMCA Programs is Character Development; Caring, putting others before yourself; Honesty, integrity to tell the truth; Responsibility, duty to do what you should; and Respect, to treat others as you would have them treat you. Summer camp for middle schoolers! At the YMCA's Middle School Day Camp we challenge teens to make a difference in the world. Middle School Day Camp is designed to involve typical summer time activities such as swimming, games and trips, but also includes community service time.
Middle School Day Camp will be held at Civitan Park this summer. Civitan Park is conveniently located on Nelson St. near Bodenhamer behind the Fire Department and directly beside the Kernersville Water Tower. This park has two shelters with grills, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, a playground, a short walking track and a softball field.
Camp begins at 7:00 am and will end at 6:00 pm daily. Each day campers will be bused to the Kernersville Family YMCA from 1:30-4:30 for swimming, gym time, and other activities.
